Then, my friend Alice who goes to Mexico every winter (they have a house down there), her parents can't afford to live in the apparment that she lives in here, so I just found out that they are leaving for Mexico in August and probably not coming back til' next summer. :( Right now she is at there house in Maine, because they needed to rent off the appartment here. There has been a bear sighting in northern Maryland. Now I've never cared about bears coming around here... until last night. I had a dream I was in my yard with my family and we saw a bear in my backyard. My dad said he wanted to bring some soup to my cousin that lives behind us. Well, not exactly behind us, since theres a little field that separates us. So we walked back there and tried to hide the soup's scent. We got in the house and we were looking for my uncle but then we heard someone shouting "Get away from me! Go away!" and my uncle was being chased by the bear. I was really scared. Then my little brother had jumped out there and my uncle grabbed him and they were running together. I will never forget the look on my brother's face. The bear was right behind him, and snapping. My mom was running behind the bear screaming. So I ran in their garage and my uncle passed my brother off to me and I started crying. Then my mom ran in the garage too. My uncle ran up a tree stand and the bear couldnt get up. My cousin was in the house too and we were worried the bear was going to get in there. He had a gun and was by the door waving it around so the bear would stay away. My dad called the fire department and the police and the fire department captured the bear. They took him to the zoo. I've been shaking all day and now i believe that bears shouldn't be around here anymore. Not that they would die... just put in captivity. It would be good for the bears because animals in captivity live longer than ones in the wild. I'm also scared they would attack my horse. I used to live in fear of going in my backyard bacause of wild dogs. When we moved I felt safe and now I can go in a field and not be worried about being attacked. It's been bothering me and my friends just laughed at it today.
